Last workout of the week! Tried to get to Spinning early so that I could get a 90 minute workout but failed to do that workout ended up being 71 minutes long and while I averages 24 MPH, my legs were quite tired, as is my lower back. That’s what I get for not stretching. So, after class I did some upper body workout with weights and stretched. Much better.
Getting caught up on my posts! Had a 46 minute workout at 24 MPH. So I think I’m recovered from lack of food from yesterday. Took it pretty easy at settings 14-16 with a few standing climbs. Not stretching so feeling a little stiff.
Didn’t eat enough today so this was a tough workout. This was a 75 minute workout that began slowly but ended pretty well much to my surprise. Averaged 24 MPH with a max BPM of 169 so I definitely didn’t work for this. Nice and easy does it. My standing is getting better in that I am able to go longer and spin faster.
Back from a trip down to Raleigh. Needless to say, didn’t get much training in except for walking. Also took a yoga class which wasn’t challenging but I did learn something.
Had a 90 minute workout since I walked into a class in progress. Not so easy coming back after a week off. Average of 22.8 MPH and over 600 calories per hour so it was alright.
Had a good yoga class today. Gotta keep flexible and injury free and these classes are a great way to do it. The older I get the more I need these. One hour and fifteen minutes of beginning yoga. Found ways to make it tougher.
Outside bike ride today. Very wet and muddy with the melting snow making quite a mess of my bike and myself. One hour and forty two minutes (1:41:59) including lots of waiting for pedestrians on the Canal Path to get out of the way – some were very clueless in spite of ringing my bell and saying “On your left!” several times. I wonder what they were thinking to not be aware of traffic. Went from Edgewood at the canal to east of Fairport.
An hour and thirty minutes of yoga! This one included using weights. If I’m not careful I might get some upper body strength.
A regular workout at 60 minutes. Peak BPM is recorded as 178 which means that 183 is probably not my max, something higher is. Don’t remember what the settings were for this workout, but it looks like some hills were climbed given the dip in BPM.
Wow! I am more of a slacker than I had thought. It’s been a while since I logged my workouts.
Just a quick workout on this day of 33 minutes. With 26.4 MPH I believe that I was trying to fit something in and so went all out (for a little bit at any rate).
